A few months ago I bought this vintage Versa Fold n Roll table for $5.00 at a church rummage sale HERE. It's sort of cool because you can transform it into a couple of different variations of itself.

Some people thought I should spray paint it or refinish it, but I'm pretty much of a chippy sort of girl.

I like my vintage items au naturale I guess.

So I just cleaned it, waxed it up and left it in all its rusty, "I've had a hard life" glory.

It makes the perfect display space in my office.

She looks pretty good all rusty and chippy I think.

I am linking with A Stroll Thru Life's Table Top Tuesday.
BTW - you will notice that I have no other blogs listed on my sidebar besides three photography ones and three vintage image ones. This is not by design. Not at all by design!
Oh no, I bought my own domain (houseofhawthornes.com) on Saturday so I could be all fancy pants and in doing so my list of blogs I follow vanished from my sidebar.
I'll save you from my whole rant on the subject, but right now I am just waiting patiently for it to reappear. They tell me it could take up to three days.
Pam...great table!!! Wish I could find one...so versatile. I like the chippyness, too! Good call!

I love that table!! SO many options for use and I agree, it's best in all it's "chippy glory!"
ReplyDeleteI adore your table in all his chippy glory.
ReplyDeleteOk girl, anytime you want to be rid of this, just let me know. I have never seen anything like it and I just love how you can do different things with it. I am a chippy girl, too, so I love that you left it black and rusty. It looks so good with the vintage garden theme you created.
ReplyDeleteLike your new look and hope your list shows up soon.
Have a fun day and I'll be back!

ReplyDeleteWow, what a great find! You are smart to leave it "au naturale". It really is a very charming piece!
ReplyDeleteI remember this table. I like tattered look to it and the way you dressed her up. What a great find.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you first posted that table...glad that you decided against painting it. The table in all it's rusted glory looks great the way you have accessorized it.
