BTW, every time I say "hard winter" my mind flashes to Little House On The Prairie. Yes Charles, the barn is under ten feet of snow, it's been a hard winter!
Anywho, I changed out my winter table top in the dining room

for a yellow and blue Spring look.
I threw my vegetable tureen into a metal basket
filled with some shredded sheet music.
And placed a blue and white platter
against a stone vase from Hobby Lobby (on extreme clearance two years ago) that I filled with some yellow flowers.
No deer were harmed in the making of this table top. These are resin antler Christmas ornaments I found at Kohl's this year.
Head on over to Marty's Table Top Tuesday party at a Stroll Thru Life for some more table top and vignette inspiration.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful decor. I am an Ohioan also, SW, about 20 miles east of Cincinnati. I want to take the time to thank you for the instructions on buying my own blog. Which I did immediately after reading about how easy it is to do. I was a little nervous for a few days because I lost my followers then I lost the list of blogs I follow but fortunately had printed out your directions so knew I just had to be patient and after 4 days everything was transitioned and all was back!
ReplyDeleteI have a shabby little place but reading your blog and seeing your ideas for decorating have encouraged me to try some new things to freshen the place up a bit. Nothing like what someone in a real home can do but in this deep, dark winter every little bit helps. Thanks for bringing in the sunshine everyday!
