Unless you travel to the North coast, i.e. Lake Erie.

But the sun is out today, it's 72 degrees and I could go for a little sand between my toes.

BTW, none of these shells and such were found in Lake Erie. Not even sure if there are shells in lakes? Is it just an ocean thing?
I will be linking with Tricia at A Rosy Note for Photo Feature Friday.
(I added the Chamomile texture from Kim Klassen Cafe, blending mode of Overlay at 50% Opacity).
I wish I was there to walk with you and get sand between my toes. Nothing like walking in the warm sand along a beach.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shells, and the vintage beach postcard is adorable. I want to be there and feel that sand right along with you!
ReplyDeleteLovely vignette. I have a bathroom that permanently displays beachy items. I've got shells mixed in with Mackinaw Island/Lake MI vintage goodies. I'm pretty certain our fresh water lakes don't produce shells, but I love them just the same. Have a splendid weekend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Pam!! Martina
ReplyDeletePam, you have no idea how much I love Sea Shells and the Ocean, the Sand in my Toes! Thank you! I have some very similar Star Fish, I love them, they grace my pretty Shell Bowl, and right now you can find Star Fish on my Mantle. It doesnt' have to be a Beachy day to enjoy the Ocean, the memories are all in the shells, ;)
ReplyDeleteShells speak sun and surf. Your jar is pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Pam! I think we get your nice day today:@)
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Pam.
ReplyDeleteToday could not be more perfect. Sunny, warm, and no work. PERFECT!
You can always get yourself a little kiddie sandbox and go in it the next time you get the urge to feel sand between your toes. ;)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Gloria
Warm and sunny here in Connecticut today also (big relief after all the rain). I love your photos. The grandkids and I were talking about the beach - must have been the sun!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny hearing you mention Lake Erie! I lived 5min from the beach of Lake Erie. We built a home 4yrs ago (leaving N. Falls) in Ridgeway the town of Fort Erie. Beautiful white sandy beach and no we don't get those beautiful shells!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos!
Great photos Pam! I could go for some sand between my toes too and some HOT weather. I'm thinking the only shells you'd probably find in a lake are snail shells and clam type things?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your post at PFF. Hope you had a good weekend :)
hugs ♥ tricia
Looks inviting!

We used to go to Lake Erie when I was a kid and stay at a cabin in Huron. There used to be big shells with purple stuff in them. We would find them all the time. Some were really big. I thought they were clams or mussels?~Hugs, Patti
