Copy Cat Oil Can Pumpkin

In August, the uber-talented Jane from Mamie Jane's showed a pumpkin that she made out of an oil can. I liked it so much I pinned it to my Pinterest board. And then super-duper-crafty Vicki from Rusty Rooster Vintage showed her version of Jane's pumpkin.

I thought they were both so darn cute, so when I was at the local antique mall and ran across some rusty oil cans I just had to make one.

For my stem greenery I cut some curly things off my grapevine wreath.

And I placed a vintage postcard image on it.

Here is Jane's original version:

And Vicki's:

Run out to your garage and and grab your husband's oil can and start painting!

  3. So darn cute!!!
A jack-o-Lantern face would be cute on it and then you could turn it around for Halloween. :)
