Boo

I'm officially done with all roofers and all ceiling fixer/painter guys for the rest of my life. I have a lifetime guarantee on this work, you know.

So I have started bringing out some of my fall stuff.

You'll be happy to know that Kate has finally made it off the kitchen counter.

I made these ghosts by painting some small dried gourds with heirloom white spray paint,

painting two eyes and a mouth with black craft paint (look, I can paint circles)

and throwing some cheesecloth over them.

It doesn't get simpler than that.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. It was a unseasonable chilly here, but the nip in the air definitely got me in a autumnal mood. Unfortunately, both my Buckeyes and Browns lost this weekend. We're used to the Browns losing, but the Buckeyes losing is a harder pill to swallow.

  1. Glad it has calmed down at your house. I love those darling gourd ghosts! Really cute! This weather has really sucked the last 2 days....yesterday more than today. My husband and son left the game early yesterday. They were chilled to the bone from the wet mist and wind on C Deck! Let's hope things get better for the Buckeyes!~Hugs, Patti

  11. Pam, luv your little ghosties covered in spider webs! I have yet to make my ghosts- I use cheese cloth and fabric stiffener. I need to get to work on those! The only bad thing is that our rainy Ohio weather always deflates them when I put them outside! Why aren't I back in New Mexico? LOL
Are you going to the barn sale this weekend? Did I ask you that already? I am losing my mind these days... *grin* Sue
