Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest. Oh, my!

Well, it's happened. Hell has frozen over. The fat lady has sung. Pam has moved into the 21st century.

Yes, I am on Facebook. And Twitter. And Pinterest.

I know, I know, Facebook has been around forever. Twitter too.  I just like to know something isn't a fad before I dive head first into it.  No pet rocks in my house.

So, if you want to Like me on Facebook click here - Find Me On Facebook
To Follow me on Twitter click here - Follow Me On Twitter
And to see my Pinterest boards you can click here - My Pinterest Boards

To be completely honest, I have been on all of these social media giants for a few weeks at least and have had them listed on my sidebar and my About Me page. I just wanted to be sure it was something I wanted to continue with before I did a post about it and I was inundated with followers (hah!).

For anyone unfamiliar with Pinterest, it is a place where you can catalog photos that you find on the web, keep them all in one place, organize them and still keep the link back to the original owner/artist of the photo.

For instance Robin at Happy at Home did a post on her vintage step stool. I thought it was pretty cute and I liked how she decorated it rather than just had it sitting there waiting to be stepped or sat upon. I mean, what's cuter than a birdhouse on a step stool.

Also, I found this photo on Linda from Itsy Bits and Pieces website and wanted to save it for future reference (I have a bunch of those basket lids in my garage that are just taking up space with no particular project in mind). So I pinned it on Pinterest so I wouldn't forget about it.

I have Pinterest boards devoted to vintage cameras, photography, trailers (you know, the cute travel trailers from the 50's and 60's), fall decorating and just plain kooky things to name just a few. Other people may have boards for favorite recipes, fashions, favorite quotes, etc. Just about anything you want to categorize can be categorized.

You do have to have a Facebook or Twitter account to register for Pinterest (you request an invite and once you get your invitation email, you can log in with one of those accounts). And only do so if you want to be addicted to Pinterest for the rest of your life and are ready for your dog to disown you for forgetting to feed him. Yes, it's that fun.

OK, gotta get back to pinning, tweeting and Facebooking. It is called Facebooking isn't it?
