I haven't used my fireplace in a couple of years. I hate to have to clean it out after each use. Maybe I will light it a couple times this year. I love the smell of a wood fire, just not the mess. Those oak leaves are gorgeous! Did you get any snow?
Me too, Although it's snowing here as we speak. Yuk!! Oh, well start a fire Pam. I'm coming over :) I so wish I had a fireplace! Talk to you soon, xxx Liz
Beautiful leaves and a nice wood pile make for a cozy Fall. I wish we had a working fireplace. Ours is closed and we use a "faux fire" in it. :) Happy Fall, Babs
It finally looks and feels like fall here in my area of the south. Leaves have not reached their peak color yet so we are enjoying them as they turn. You have a cozy scene there with the wood in that nice container. I enjoy a wood burning fireplace- ours is gas. Have a good week.-Shannon
It was cold! We had a campfire in the backyard Friday night. By 10 we were all huddled up close just to stay warm - but boy was it fun. I love it though.
There's nothing better than the home fires burning with the ones you love! We're doing the same thing . . . and watching the SNOW pile up!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely evening!
I love it too...but I am not quite ready for snow yet! It is STILL a four letter word to me! xo Diana

ReplyDeleteDid I ever ask, what camera do you use?

I miss not having a fireplace, we had one growing up. A firepit does help.
ReplyDeleteSnuggle in and have a great Sunday!
I need to get some more wood, too! We hit the 30's last night! Hope you are having a great weekend!...hugs...Debbie

ReplyDeleteI miss our real fireplace. We do have our gas fireplace roaring this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteIn too short of a time we will all be shovelin' it. andrea@townandprairie

ReplyDeleteWe have no fireplace or stove, but enjoy smelling the fires of other houses when we venture outside on these crisp, fall days!
