How Much Wood Can A Woodchuck Chuck?

It was mighty cold last night. Woke up to frost on the grass and trees.

So glad we got some wood delivered last week.

Nothing better than a crisp fall evening, a fire in the wood stove and watching some college football with the hubby and kiddo.

I love this time of year!

  1. There's nothing better than the home fires burning with the ones you love! We're doing the same thing . . . and watching the SNOW pile up!

    Have a lovely evening!

  3. I haven't used my fireplace in a couple of years. I hate to have to clean it out after each use. Maybe I will light it a couple times this year. I love the smell of a wood fire, just not the mess.
Those oak leaves are gorgeous! Did you get any snow?

  9. I miss not having a fireplace, we had one growing up. A firepit does help.

Snuggle in and have a great Sunday!

  14. Beautiful leaves and a nice wood pile make for a cozy Fall. I wish we had a working fireplace. Ours is closed and we use a "faux fire" in it. :)
    Happy Fall,

  15. It finally looks and feels like fall here in my area of the south. Leaves have not reached their peak color yet so we are enjoying them as they turn. You have a cozy scene there with the wood in that nice container. I enjoy a wood burning fireplace- ours is gas. Have a good week.-Shannon

  17. It was cold! We had a campfire in the backyard Friday night. By 10 we were all huddled up close just to stay warm - but boy was it fun. I love it though.
