After I posted my Daffodil Wars post, my sister so joyfully sent me this
Dang it.
You do know that sasquatches are omnivorous, meaning they eat both meat and plants. I wouldn't be tempting those guys by planting pretty flowers around my house. Just saying.

Oh no! Oh well, I am glad they are blooming somewhere...that means spring has sprung!
ReplyDeleteWe have cherry blossoms on trees here already. I can't believe it. This is has been the best winter by far across the nation!
ReplyDeleteLosing builds character!!! You'll get her next year!!! :)
ReplyDeleteToo funny. My sister lives in Scotland and I get wicked tired of hearing how everything is blooming and we continue to endure sunless Ohio days. Of course she does have endless gale force winds and an overall lack of sun to contend with...
ReplyDeleteWell, if your sister goes out to check her daffys at just the right time you may find that she will no longer be in a competition with you...just sayin~ xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLOL! Daffodils are so pretty, it's no wonder that the Sasquatch can't resist.
ReplyDeleteOh, but think about the notoriety!
ReplyDeleteDrat and double drat. I was really rooting for you Pam! =)
ReplyDeleteDoes the picture have a date on it? My daffodils aren't looking like this. Maybe its a picture from last year? :) Just sayin' :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, Pam. But this post totally made my day.
ReplyDeleteWell... it's nice to see them blooming somewhere:@)
ReplyDeleteI guess now I'm really in last place...lol
ReplyDeleteNext year Pam you can take her.
ReplyDeleteI am the sister the flowers are real, every year since we moved here 30 plus years ago they bloom about feb.14. we had alot of fun at my workplace with the WAR also. Better luck next time Pam.
ReplyDeleteDouble dang...mine aren't even pokin' up through the soil!!!
ReplyDeleteGod bless and have a fantastic weekend sweetie!!!
Oh no. Maybe you'll get her next year. Did you just add the BlogHer thing on here? I don't remember seeing that before.
ReplyDeleteLOL, funny how they bloom on Valentines day. I can feel the love in this war. :)
ReplyDeleteHi! Just a quick note to tell you I’ve nominated you for a “Versatile Blog Award”!
ReplyDeleteDon’t know what that means? You can visit my blog, http://lebanonbandbinprogress.blogspot.com/ read all about it and then spread the love. congrats
Too funny! Not sure where in OR your sister lives but here in S. Eastern Washington no Daffodils blooming yet, atleast not at my house.
