One of the dealers at the mall had a lot of vintage Christmas stuff for very, very cheap. Way cheaper than I would have priced it at, but since I was on the buying end of the transaction, I wasn't complaining.
I scanned it for you so you could use it for crafts, if you like. Or for playing on the piano if you are one of those talented type of people.
I also made a naked Rudolph png file for you (no background).
While I'm turning my home into a winter wonderland this week (a.k.a. the attack of the blow molds), my plan is to show you some posts of different rooms of my house prior to Christmas decorating. I've never done a "home tour" type of post, so I thought now might be a good time BEFORE I change it all up for the Christmas decor. Besides, I will have photographic evidence of what my house looked like before decorating, so that I can remember how to put it back together afterward. Now that's using my noggin, isn't it!
FYI - I tried the Paula Deen corn recipe for Thanksgiving and it was delicious. I may have found my new favorite corn casserole. I was afraid it was going to be too cornbready, because it had so much Jiffy corn mix in it, but it was actually quite yummy.

Great find! Makes me wish I still had my piano so I could sit down and play... Happy Monday to you! ~Sally
ReplyDeleteI found an Old RCA Records Rudolph record a while back too. My daughter has been harrassing me to play it but we don't have a record player. Guess I will have to hit the thrift stores:-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays!
Erica
I never think to look in that section, love that Rudolph!
ReplyDeleteI love Rudolph..he is my favorite. I have a large collection of vintage rudolph circa 1939. Will be anxious to see your home tour!
ReplyDeleteLove the graphics, thanks for posting them! I had my MIL's old Settlement Cookbook out yesterday and looked up corn casseroles. There was one that looked good, made with layered breadcrumbs. If you'd like, I can email it. Happy you found one you did like though.
ReplyDeleteGreat Rudolph graphics! I love the Jiffy cornbread casserole! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeletePam, do you know between the three of us and our three college degrees we cannot get our wireless printer to work? So no Rudolph for me but thank you. I think it is blasphemy to use Jiffy mix for cornbread but in a recipe I guess it's okay. Glad you found a recipe that tasted good. hugs, olive
ReplyDeleteWe own this exact same sheet music. It was my mother's. Thanks for scanning and sharing, Pam!
ReplyDeleteYou either need to pick me up on your way thrifting or I'm giving you a shopping list .. lol Great find!
ReplyDeleteThat piece of music was in our piano bench, and on piano at Christmas. I may even have played from it. I so enjoy that my youth is your collectable. And my mother's youth sells for a fortune. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteI love the graphics on the old sheet music! Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer was a big treat for us to watch on tv when we were growing up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic find-makes me wish I didn't quit piano lessons.
ReplyDeleteGreat graphic, too.
Aw-w, don't tell me Rudolph has been drinking again.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your nifty find.
A great find, I love those 50's look holiday images. Happy decorating, Laura
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the tour!
ReplyDeleteWill there be refreshments? :)
I saw this cover framed on the set of one of local midday shows.

Oh that sheet music is great! Thanks Pam. I used to play the piano and now you got me thinking that I should look and see if I have any old sheet music...granted, it wouldn't be as old as this though, 'm just saying. Anyway, how did you remove the background for you png file? I'm not good with stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this Pam... I may print it out just so DD can play it! LOVE the old graphics!
