  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 cup rolled oats old-fashioned, uncooked
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 egg
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and ginger.
  2. Add in brown sugar and oats and mix thoroughly.
  3. Now mix in your wet ingredients - vegetable oil, milk and egg.
  4. Drop by heaping spoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for about 12 minutes until light golden brown.
  5. Loosen your belt buckle a few notches, grab a glass of milk and start eating your cookies.
