Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt in medium sized mixing bowl and set aside.
In large mixing bowl combine brown sugar, granulated sugar, softened butter or margarine and vanilla extract. Beat on medium until creamy.
Add egg and beat.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Gently stir in chocolate chips and crushed potato chips by hand.
Spread evenly into your cast iron skillet.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 18-20 minutes or until the top is light golden brown.
Notes
You can substitute milk chocolate chips for the semi-sweet chocolate chips if you prefer.If your cast iron skillet is not highly seasoned already you can lightly butter the bottom and sides.I like the crunchiness of the kettle-cooked chips, but your could use other styles of chips (wavy, traditional, etc).
