HOW TO MAKE FALL OUTDOOR PLANTERS

Let's make a fall planter using plants you can easily find at the garden center.

For this planter we are using a mum, purple fountain grass, a kale and a cabbage.

Start by removing the summer plants and topping the planters off with fresh dirt.

To add height, plant the grass plant toward the back of the container and slightly off center.

For a POP of color, add the mum beside the grass plant in the back.

The cabbage and kale can be planted in the front of the container to grow over the sides a bit.

The last step is to thoroughly water the planter.
