UPCYCLING A  THRIFT STORE PURSE INTO A WREATH FOR YOUR FRONT DOOR

A quick and easy DIY project!

Making your own wreath gives you greater control over color and design style. You can usually make one for a fraction of the cost of buying a premade one.

You can pick up a fun straw purse at a local thrift store fairly inexpensively. At this time of year, there are normally many to choose from.

And faux flowers can be found at thrift stores also. Or you can go to Michael's, JoAnn Fabrics or Walmart for a large selection of colors and styles.

And repurposing a purse into a wreath is as simple as stuffing the flowers into the purse and hanging it on your door.

OPTIONAL - You can add other embellishments to create more of a theme if you want.

I just wired a garden trowel to the purse and added a seed packet to complete a summer garden look. Sometimes the best projects are the easiest projects.
