INSTRUCTIONS

Wipe the oil off the plumbing parts (they come from the store with a coating of protective oil). Screw one floor flange and one cap onto each pipe nipple (long piece).

Spray paint the brackets with black, silver or dark brown paint and allow them to thoroughly dry. I used Rustoleum's Hammered Metal Paint & Primer in Black.

Screw the pipes into the wall making sure they are level and lay your board over the pipe brackets. Pipe straps can be attached to the bottom of the shelves to child proof them.

Pipe shelving goes perfectly well with both industrial style and farmhouse style design.  Get the  full DIY directions  along with non-DIY shelving options (store-bought) here.
