Although there were a few trees with pretty ones left,
a lot of the leaves were on the ground already. Bummer.
So I decided to shoot the animals on the farm (with my camera of course), but all I could find were the sheep
and the chickens.
Where did the cows and horses run off to there, Mr. Leghorn?
Speaking of farms, I am off to The Rural Society Antique & Garden Show this morning, so I've got to run.
I've got my eye on one of those holey, metal buckets with handles that they show in this photo, so I'd better get there when they open. Have a great weekend!

You may have missed the leaves on the trees but you still captured some great photos. Very pretty area!!
ReplyDeleteI read your previous post about joining Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.....ok....I think I may be officially the last person to not have an account with any of these social media sites!! Maybe I should join the 21st century too!

They said the leaves were to peak the 15th. I was glad I took pictures on Monday as they are falling fast. I love your farm pictures. Love those chickens.
ReplyDeleteI am going to the show tomorrow instead of today. If you get a chance let me know how it went today and the must sees. The weather is not good this morning. Safe travels.
Beautiful pictures, Pam. I love sheep, they have gorgeous eyes. My friend raises Suffolks.
ReplyDeleteThose holey wall baskets are cute....hope you snag one!
great pics! I especially like the fourth one down with the sheep - perfect autumn farm scene! looks like such a great place to visit and the chickens are cute. my dream is to someday have a farm/farmhouse like martha stewart's turkey hill. ;-)

Beautiful pics but how could those trees be bare and there's not one leaf on the ground??? Oh yea, they probably all blew east to my yard:@)
ReplyDeleteI love your little chickens. That could be a picture in my kitchen which is red, black, and white. Have a fun Fall weekend.

Is that an old minnow bucket? andrea@townandprairie
ReplyDeletePam, these shots are just gorgeous!! You don't need leaves! That red barn is beautiful. We should be having peak about next weekend, but lots of rain and 30-40 mph winds took so many leaves off. This is my favorite time and I try to enjoy every moment! Thanks for stopping by!! I appreciate you very much:-)
ReplyDeleteI love your photos, the barn and animals. Those buckets are great.
ReplyDeleteAll we saw on our way to the barn sale yesterday were sheep, as well! I missed those holey buckets somehow! But I did find some cool wicker wrapped demi-johns and another turtle shell. Post to come... Missed seeing ya. :-(
ReplyDeleteVisual Delight - Loved your farm photo's.
ReplyDeleteDid you pay those chickens to pose for you? haha! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall photos! Love the sheep! Hope you are having a great weekend!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Hope you had success at the antique show. Did you get any of the metal buckets? I can see why you wanted one- they're terrific!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos,Pam! Looks like a wonderful fall day!
ReplyDeleteEven without lots of leaves, they were still gorgeous fall photos! I love the picture of the red barn behind the trees with the sheep and the black chickens against the white coop. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteEver hear, "make like a tree, and leave." LOL! It seems a bit early for the trees to lose that many leaves already. But your photos are beautiful anyway!
