Carol Brady, Eat Your Heart Out

Published by Pam Kessler | 85 words. · About 1 minute to read this article. -

I've got a confession to make.

    I like the color orange.

I've got another confession to make.

    I like vintage Tupperware.

Throw the two together and I'm in 70's heaven.

OK, there I've said it. I feel so much better.

I found the larger orange Tupperware Servalier bowl at a yard sale for a quarter last weekend. The other bowls are from my personal stash.

Oh, I have more. I just didn't feel like doing the dishes for you. I use these All. The. Time.

I love Tupperware too. When I worked in the hospital I called the hospital police when my lunch was stolen because they got my tupperware!

Those colors don't float my boat but they sure do bring back memories! Have to love old Tupperware 🙂

My grandfather brings my grandmother cut up fruit in these Tupperware containers when he visits her in the nursing home.

One of my fav Tupperware pieces in the orange piece under the yellow & green. I only have one. All the other ones don't pass the smell test!

Oh, no! no! No need to apologize. For years and years my favorite color was red. Not bright red, but a deep, dark country red. This past year or so I don't know what's come over me, but like you, I had to admit that orange was my new fave. Not just any orange though. I like it with some brown in it. A harvest orange, if you will! And I've got those old tupperwares too. One friend still needs to return my two, the thief. You know not to put them in the microwave right?

The memories of Tupperware home parties and getting suckered into hosting one, thinking about all the free items you might receive. Fun post.

Move over, Pam, I love it too! I had these pieces when my kids were little and now they're gone! Probably buried in the yard because my kids would sneak them out of the kitchen and take them outside to play with! 🙂
      be a sweetie,
      Shelia 😉

I feel that way about pink Pyrex Pam:-) I actually have some of these but only the lids are colored as I bought them in the 80s in college. My mom has some older pieces that she still uses including a cool salt and pepper set. We have been watching "The Brady Bunch" on Hallmark in the afternoons, and the kids are loving the retro style!

What a blast from the past...and it was good stuff! I should start looking for some at sales as I need some storage containers- thanks for sharing!

I had some of these but the dishwasher can be hard on tupperware. They are fun colors!

OH yes, vintage Tupperware is the best. I'm still using my yellow canister set from the early '80's.

(and Mum was a Tupperware Lady in both the UK and the US - we had gobs of it about the house!)

That screams my childhood. I think my mom might still have that exact set. Josie discovered the Brady Bunch on tv the other day. She's hooked.
