    Croquet Anyone?

Published by Pam Kessler | 109 words. · About 1 minute to read this article. -

Back in June I talked about a vintage croquet set that I had gone to a estate sale for and didn't get to buy.

So I have been looking for another one ever since. Sure I have seen some at antique stores, but they were never in that great of shape. Some missing some balls. Some missing the wickets. Some with broken mallets.

But good things come to those who wait. I found one in excellent shape for her age!!!

OK, it has a metal cart, rather than the wooden type I had been picturing in my dreams, but I looked past it and went ahead and bought it.

Great find! And I LOVE the metal cart! It reminds me of one my aunt had years ago when I was little. Enjoy it, it's beautiful!

Love the beautiful patina on this set. You really scored this time and I'm glad to hear this one didn't get away.

I think it's in great shape too! A little old age gives it a nice vintage look to it. Have fun playing!

I can't even tell you how many memories of my childhood that croquet set brings back. We had one just like it and I was the little sister who was always begging my much older & busier brothers to play croquet! 🙂

Love your "new" croquet set! I especially like the cart. Ours is in a carry-all bag, which I like, but I think I'd like a cart!

Love it! I found one a long time ago at a garage sale and it's sadly just sitting in our garage taking up space. I hope you get lots of enjoyment out of yours.
