    Vintage Easter Postcards (Printable)

Published by Pam Kessler | 308 words. · About 2 minutes to read this article. -

I love collecting vintage Easter postcards and snap them up whenever I find them at estate sales and yard sales.

The graphics are amazing and the colors are so vibrant and fun!

And the scenes are usually pretty amusing, in a child-like, innocent sort of way.

Well, except for last week's odd (disturbing? historically accurate?) Easter postcard. After that brief moment of weirdness, I felt I owed you a palate cleanser with some more traditional and fun vintage Easter images that won't cause sleepless nights.

How about a little bunny romance? How sweet!

They look as if they may have just been married. Or maybe returning from Easter services?

Or a chick romance? Ahhh, young love at work!

    Cross-species romance?

OK, they're just flirting, what could it hurt? It's not like this is going anywhere.

    I stand corrected.

I guess it may have gone somewhere. Is this even possible?

Whatever your view on bunnies and chicks dating, you have to admit that the images on vintage Easter postcards are pretty special!

For instance, I'm unsure whether these are regular-sized chicks on a toy-sized trolley or gigantic chicks on a regular-sized trolley.

And what are chicks doing on a trolley in the first place?

OK, this is making my head hurt. Maybe we shouldn't think about the postcards THAT much.

Let's enjoy them for what they are. A nice, wholesome (in most cases) slice of Americana meant to bring a smile to our faces.

I'm completely in love with these images. I'm thinking I need to get my husband to smuggle my mod podge upstairs so that I can do something special with these postcards while I have my foot iced and propped. Thanks for sharing, Pam!

I adore your vintage Easter cards. Seems the older I get the more I find interest in all things vintage/retro/history. Thanks for leaving a comment on my Hubby's China post. I would love to see your mom's too. I think my mom had that same detergent, just don't know what she did with the china.

Cross Species Romance between a bunny and a chick! It could happen. Where do you think Cadbury eggs come from?
